Extra virgin olive oil (or virgin for the “matured olive” category) labeled PDO.
The AOP zone offers 2 taste families:
- Intense taste: oil characterized by its notes of grass and raw atichoke on the nose and palate, orgeat and cinnamon on the nose accompanied by banana, hazelnut, fresh almond and tomato leaf on the palate.
- Mature olives: oil with aromas of undergrowth and cooked artichoke on the nose and palate, accompanied by chocolate and ripe fruit on the nose and toasted bread and black olive on the palate.
