Ganda Grand Cru is prepared using a selection of the best hams from grain-fed
pigs bred in Belgium.
Pig breeds such as ‘Duroc’ and ‘Landras’ are fed with grains, olive oil and slop feed
giving the meat an even better taste. The preparation of the ham involves rubbing
it with sea salt, cold curing and slow drying for 12 to 14 months. The result is an
all-natural treatment that is easily digestible and rich in protein. Ganda Ham is a
Recognized Regional Product. The hams are prepared traditionally and according
to an old recipe. They do not contain any preservatives or added nitrites or nitrates.
