We would like to tell you the story of our Sustainable Cashews from Tanzania. Many cashews are harvested in Africa and shelled in Asia, then shipped to Europe. This is a long and polluting round trip. Our Tanzanian cashews, known as the world's finest and tastiest cashews, are shelled locally in Tanzania. This not
only a 60% CO2 reduction because the cashew nuts are shipped directly to Europe, but this also creates more local employment in Tanzania, under good working conditions. The cashew nuts are bought from farmers at a premium price so that they can offer their families a better life. In addition, the goal is "Zero Food Waste," where the goal is to use all residual products in the process.
