Joppiesaus is a yellowish sauce served cold. It is a sauce available in various cafeterias in the Netherlands and in chip shops in Belgium and is eaten with fries, various snacks and hamburgers. The sauce was developed in 2002 by the operator of a cafeteria in Glanerbrug in Twente.
